Important Update Regarding the Annual Grants Program
B*CURED’s leadership has made a strategic decision to implement a one-year pause in our annual grants program, effective 2026. This temporary pause is a proactive measure designed to allow us time to build and consolidate our financial reserves, ensuring long-term stability and a strong foundation for future initiatives.
In our goal to get as much funding out as possible immediately post pandemic, we elected to spend into our reserve funds. Now we want to take this one-year hiatus to rebuild those reserves. This will not affect outstanding grants.
We will resume the grants program in March of 2027, with details on the new cycle to be shared closer to that time. We look forward to funding exciting new research in the future, as we continue our shared mission of fighting brain cancer.
